Ceviche, chicarrones de pescado (fried fish nuggets), and
arroz con mariscos (rice with seafood) were all cheap, fresh, and
outstanding in Huanchaco. This was the best food I had in Peru. That evening, a laid-back Peruvian surfing instructor
treated us to handmade Pisco Sours under the night sky. Salsa
dancing was also attempted.
