We managed to wake up in the wee hours and caught the train to Machu Picchu.  The ride was quite lovely, and during the journey we descended about 4000 feet, which drastically improved the health of my companions.  As we hummed along the terrain slowly transformed from sparse mountains into lush cloud forest.  This shot was taken after our arrival in Aguas Calientes.
