Puno is a little town on the western edge of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.  We arrived at the bus station at the break of dawn.  We were both tired and feeling yucky, and Mari had a splitting headache that was so bad she could only open one eye.  Her body did not like being over two miles above sea level.
