Finally, we made our way back to Cusco.  We splurged a bit and treated ourselves to a nice hotel suite, and spent the entire next day trying to figure out our jungle options.  It turned out that any inexpensive option was probably a bad idea, so we grudgingly booked a two night stay in an eco-lodge near Puerto Maldonado (which turned out to be a very, very good move).  The following day, we hopped on a plane down to the jungle and began the last part of our trip.
