We hired a tour guide who did a great job of explaining the history and pointing out the finer details, such as the two faces hidden in the rock walls across the valley (left and right images).  He also described the incredible Inca stonework.  Those massive rocks were cut to fit absolutely perfectly and were originally polished as smooth as marble.
